Tiger Wood has decided to withdraw 2011 U.S. Open Championship due to the recent injuries he incurred at The Players Championship. I have to admit that I was looking forward to watching the U.S Open just because there was a chance that Tiger Woods would play, but just like all the other tournaments this year, I will only watch them if nothing else is or if there is nothing to do that weekend.
It seems as though that with Tiger missing so many tournaments, watching golf is just not as exciting as it was in the past years. Although there are many other good players in the PGA tour, none of them have the flair anywhere close to that of Tiger Woods.
I am not sure if I will watch any golf this summer, but one thing is for sure, with Tiger not playing I will definitely not go out of my way to watch any of the events.
