And then there was another outstanding NBA Finals game last night. The first four 2011 NBA Finals games have had allot of excitement, and game 5 was not any different than the other. Another hard fought game, with both teams exchanging blows, the defence stepping it up at the right time and big shots from players known for making key shots. At the end of it, the Mav came up with the win and took a 3-2 series lead. What I've noticed in these series is that an overall team make up beat three stars playing on the same team. Here is a quick recap of the game:- Mavs started off strong but gave up the lead in the third quarter. They eventually came back in the fourth to win the game again.
- Both Team brought their best offensive performances of the 2011 NBA Finals
- Lebron James ended with a triple double but he only had 2 points in the fourth
- Dirk Nowitzki had another big game and another clutch fourth quarter performance
- Dwayne wade carried the load in the fourth quarter for the heat again
- Chris Bosh had a good game
- Barrea and Terry both hit key shots down the stretch to seal the deal for the Mavs
